Council
Many of the activities of the Fly for Hope program are facilitated by the Fly for Hope Council.
Established in 1996, the Council consists of no more than 15 members who meet four times
a year to provide the leadership for programs. The members serve a two year term and one
half of the Council rotates off each year as new members join. In this way we provide
continuity for ideas and programs as well as benefit from fresh ideas and enthusiasm from the new members.
New members are recommended by the Council members and all members can serve more than one term.
Every effort is made to recruit members from a wide geographical area.
